Workshop by Carol Roark

 

 

 

Join me at my Enid, Mississippi studio and improve your landscape painting by gaining confidence painting plein air. Let me show you the importance of plein air and how to enjoy immersing yourself in the outdoors. We will study the fundamentals of composition, value, color and edges. This workshop is for all levels, but familiarity with oil painting is recommended. 

Workshop fee is $300 and is limited to 10 students to provide adequate distancing.

CANCELLATION POLICY - 

Registration fee is non - refundable UNLESS you are experiencing ANY symptoms of COVID-19, or are exposed or have a person in your household develop the virus. If this is the case, you will refunded your deposit.

Students will be required to wear masks.  I will wear a mask when working with students, but not during lectures and demos.  

If I have to cancel the class for any reason all deposits will be refunded.

Established in 2014, the Mississippi Plein Air Painters is a group of artists who meet together with the focus 0f painting outdoors and growing artistically with the support of each other. Greenville Arts Council invites you to join us online as we view art created by this group of talented people.

Biggest, Baddest Art Show

 


Members of Oxford Artists' Guild are hosting their annual Biggest, Baddest Art Show at the Powerhouse starting November 5 through December 21st. Works may be viewed anytime between 9 AM and 5 PM, and after hours during special events.
 
 
Over 50 original works of all media are on display from more than 20 different artists.
