Oxford Artists’ Guild Zoom Meeting Minutes

Tuesday, January 12, 2021

Call to order at 7:08 p.m.

 Welcome-  Welcome new member, Rufus Russ.

1.        Old Business

A.  Approval minutes from November 10, 2020

     Motion: Pam Locke

     Second: Lynn Wells

B.  Treasurer’s Report: Susan Rose: $5,066.28 in account. 28 members renewed.  Membership Renewal Due Date is January 31st!  Membership Dues are $25 annually.

****Members who are in financial hardship at this time should contact a board member to receive waiver.

 

2.      New Business- Committee Reports


A.       Linda Peters – MS Plein Air Painters -  Plein Air Show opening Friday, January 15th, at Malkin Gallery in Greenville, MS, at 5:30pm.  Linda Peters’ show, For the Love of Trees, is on exhibit at City Grocery.  Stop by at 9:30am or 11am to see her work!

B.       Pam Locke – Gallery: December sales total $1,159.80 with artists receiving $839.48 total. Gallery fee is $25 annually.

C.       Lee Ann O’Keefe- Membership

D.       Lori Blaylock- Social Media – Please send any post to Lori or post on Guild FB page and post will be screened and cleared by Admin.

E.       Spring Show – TBA will take place during warmer season at Armory Pavilion

F.       Double Decker – TBA. Pam Locke has reached out to Visit Oxford.  Awaiting baseball schedule. 

   Guild Calendar – Future Dates

 

Guild Meetings – 2nd Tuesday of the Month on Zoom until further Notice

February 9th, 2021 at 7pm via Zoom

 

January 15- 23rd – Fiber Fest in 3 locations! Faulkner Alley for Kids’ Show, Breezeway by Uptown Coffee and the Growler, Field Trip on Saturday, Jan. 16th to New Albany for Quilt Block Trail.
