Classes and
programs offered by the Arts Council may be adjusted to be responsive to
evolving City of Oxford, Lafayette County and Health Department
guidelines.
Camp size will be limited to no more than 20 campers
Children
will need to wear a mask, some camps will provide them. Children will
not be required to wear masks while eating snack or lunch.
Temperatures will be taken of all children and employees when entering camp.
Hand sanitizing station will be set up at entrance and children will need to clean hands on arrival.
Employees and campers will wash hands frequently.
Tables and bathrooms will be sanitized multiple times during the day.
Children
and employees who have a fever or any symptoms of illness will be sent
home immediately. Families will be given a prorated refund for days
missed. (We also ask that if any family members of campers or employees
get sick, that those individuals stay home as well to minimize risk of
exposure.)
Children will be met outside for pickup and drop off
by a staff member to minimize people in the building and we ask that the
same person come for pick up and drop off if at all possible.
Some sinks will be closed to maintain social distancing in the bathrooms.
If
multiple camps occur at the same time, they will be in separate rooms
with separate entrances and will use separate bathrooms.
Items brought by students including lunch boxes and water bottles should be taken home daily to be cleaned.
Adult classes will follow similar guidelines. Class sizes will be
limited, temperatures will be checked on arrival, masks will be worn,
hand sanitizer and good hand hygeine will be practiced. Social
distancing guidelines will be followed.
Specific camps and classes may have additional guidelines.
Refunds
will be offered on camps and classes that have to be cancelled due to
changes in community polices as set by City of Oxford, Lafayette County
and the Health Department. Refunds will be offered on a prorated basis
if a child or family member becomes ill, and it is determined for the
health and safety reasons that the child should not attend camp. Due to
the limited number of spaces available for camp, priority will be given
to those attending the full camp. Day or partial registrations will be
an option if camps do not reach full enrollment.
