Nancy Moore just completed a solo exhibition at the Powerhouse!

 Rhonda Grammar had a painting accepted in the Mississippi Watercolor Society's Grand National Exhibition at the Mississippi Museum of art in Jackson. 

Cindy Aune’s artwork is featured on the cover of a new coffee table book.

Carra Hewitt had a painting accepted into the Collierville Season's exhibit.  Only 16 plein air paintings were accepted. 

2012 Youth Art Show

The first 2012 Youth Art Exhibition was a joint venture between the YAC and the Oxford Artists' Guild.  It was a huge success.  Just seeing the excited smiles of these talented artists as they viewed their works hanging in a professional show was inspiring.  A reception was held in their honor in conjunction with Oxford's Art Crawl.  Judges awards were given in  three categories.  A vote was held during the reception for a People's Choice.  The following were winners.  Congratulations!!  To see photographs from the show, please click on the 2012 Youth Art Show tab.

Beth Long and her fabulous jewelry is featured in the current issue of Oxford Invitation!

As many of you know Sheri Marshall has been a member of the Craftsmen's Guild of Mississippi in ceramics since 2003. She has just been given the honor of a "Fellow". Only those who complete an additional third jury process and are deemed the most talented and well deserving receive this honor and are declared master craftsmen. Way to go Sheri!!

Congratulations to David Race and Hanne Gaycken for their exhibition "A Sense of Place" at Bozart's Gallery in Water Valley.
