Remembering Frances
Frances McEwen, one of our beloved founding members, will always be remembered. She possessed a unique ability to make those around her feel important. She loved “art for the sake of art”. Her cat and dog angels were always a favorite among show attendees. She rarely missed shows or meetings and always had something delicious to share. For any child that passed by her booth, she had a smile, kind words, and most often an origami creation to give them.
Memorials to Frances are requested to be given to the Oxford Lafayette Humane Society. Thank you to those members who have already honored her in this way.
